A Beginning

I'm absolutely delighted to be the new maker in residence at the National Justice Museum, Nottingham. I'll be exploring their history, buildings and collections, themes and ideas through making and creativity. Distilling my experience of the museum into a body of drawings, prints and ultimately a jewellery collection. I'll also be working with the visitors to the museum, enabling them to create their own artistic and material response to justice, law, crime and punishment.

The residency is a wonderful opportunity for me to deepen and enrich my creative process. To explore new ideas and new designs in my jewellery. The museum is fascinating, emotive, at times it's heartbreaking but it's also unexpectedly beautiful. I'm so looking forward to bringing those aspects into my work.
