JUNE / JULY ENAMELLING SIX WEEK COURSE - EVENINGS
A six week, Wednesday evening class in enamelling for jewellery. We will explore kiln fired and dry sifted enamel work. Each week you'll learn a new technique and method, building your skills to work with colour, pattern, texture to create beautiful and bespoke work.

Class Description
Who is this class suitable for?
Beginners to intermediate makers
What will I make?
You will create a range of bespoke samples and experimental pieces. As the course progress you may choose to make pendants, earrings, brooches, rings or small decorative pieces.
What will I learn?
You will learn to shape and clean copper sheet. You'll learn to apply layers of glass powder and to kiln fire the pieces to fuse the materials together. You'll explore a different technique each week incuding digital transfer application, graphite decoration, enamel paints, contemporary cloisonne and more.
What is included?
All tools, equipment and basic materials are provided. More materials will be available to buy at the class if desired.

The class requires a minimum of five participants to run. If the class doesn't run you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your booking one month or more before the class begins you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available once the course has begun.
All tools are provided along with a selection of base metals and findings. If you want to work in silver or gold this can be available to purchase at the class or shopping advice can be offered. If you have specific requirements or interests let me know so they can be accommodated.
