Introduction to Silver Smithing 14th October
A One Jewellery Day School
Perfect forbeginners or those who want to improve their silver smithing skills this is an all day class in metal work skills and techniques. The class will introduce you to basic silver smithing techniques, tools and equipment and give you the space and time to explore and experiment.
Set in the well equipped professional jewellery studio at Focus Gallery you can try you hand at piercing, drilling, filing, polishing, soldering, texturing, stamping and more to design and create your own bespoke jewellery piece.
For beginners, the morning is spent learning about the tools and materials in the workshop and planning and designing your project. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to create you own wearable piece to be proud of.
For those more experienced makers you cn bring along a project or idea to work on independantly or join in with the group schedule - it's your day so make the most of it.

Terms and Conditions The class requires a minimum of five participants to run. If the class doesn't run you will receive a full refund. All tools are provided along with a selection of base metals and findings. If you have specific requirements or interests let me know so they can be accommodated. Please bring your own silver, a limited selection will be available to purchase on the day.
