Border 1 Brooch

Enamelled copper with hand painted repeat and edging, tube riveted to s atrip of textured brass with a steel fibular style pin.
 
This piece came from collections of drawings inspired b edges, boundaries, fences and borders. Contained and enclosed shapes and spaces. 
 
This statement brooch would look fantastic on a lapel or thick knit. The negative space allows the texture of the fabric to become a third design element.
