Sticks and Stones is my first collection of 100% recycled, sterling silver jewellery. Pieces are individually hand cast from scrap and broken silver in carved charcoal blocks. Forms are inspired by natural shapes - twigs, bark, bones and pebbles. Every pieces is completely unique, the shape and texture is formed organically during the casting process. Given the minimum of finishing to reduce the use of chemicals and energy, pieces are burnished and left with a natural sheen.
